Swivel Coupler
A swivel coupler used in scaffolding is a load-bearing connector designed to join two scaffold tubes at any required angle. It is usually made of drop-forged steel and consists of two rotating half-couplers connected by a pivot bolt. This swivel action allows the tubes to rotate relative to each other before tightening. Once secured, the coupler holds the tubes firmly in position while accommodating non-right-angle connections
Swivel couplers are commonly used for diagonal bracing, cross-bracing, and situations where the scaffold layout is irregular or needs extra flexibility. They play a crucial role in improving the stability and rigidity of the scaffold by allowing effective bracing in multiple directions.
